Capabilities

1. Start with a bill or resolution to see:

1. • all public laws and Acts/US Code sections that the bill will affect if adopted, and

   • any subsequent bills that will further affect the bill in question.

2. Start with a Public Law to see:

   • all prior Public Laws and Acts/US Code sections that the Law affects,

   • any subsequent Public Laws that had further impact and

   • any bills and resolutions that will affect the Public Law if adopted.

3. Start with an Act of US Code section to see:

   • all Public Laws that have an impact on the law, and

   • any bills and resolutions that will affect the law if adopted.

4. Start with a US Code Title to see:

   • all Public Laws and all bills and resolutions that affect the entire title.  

   • • This is an excellent way to monitor an area of law or practice.  

NOTE: If starting with a positive law title, begin with the US Code section.  If starting with a non-positive law title, begin with the Act.  See Positive Law Titles.
