Browse Collection

The Browse Collection menu allow you to select Document Type or Jurisdiction (either Federal or State)–all of which are hyperlinks–as the starting point for your research.

Once you click a link and are viewing the appropriate screen, you can narrow your search by choosing among further headings and drilling down through the hierarchies in which documents are organized.  It is often easier to find particular content within statutory and regulatory data by browsing than by performing full text searches.  

NOTE: Under the heading for every data type, a “Current through” line indicates how recent the documents are that have been loaded into the system. For some document types, you can click an information (“i”) button (to the far right of the heading) to view background and coverage information.
